So…what is a lemon anyway?
Let’s start at the very beginning and define, what EXACTLY defines a lemon? The American Heritage Dictionary defines the term “lemon” as “One that is or proves to be unsatisfactory…”. However, delving a bit deeper and how it pertains to vehicles, the Lemon Law attempts to define specific situations which entitle consumers to their money back or exchange for a new vehicle.
In a nutshell, any defect or nonconformity, or combination of defects, which aren’t or can’t be repaired within a reasonable number of attempts or in a reasonable amount of time, may entitle you to lemon law relief.
It’s important to understand that your vehicle does NOT have to be breaking down to be considered a lemon. If you’re aggravated enough to be watching this video, chances are good that you may have a lemon.
